our team

K4 is part family business part an architects dream work. Our big family consists of architects, designers and creatives that put their best of knowledge and expertise into the K4 Kythnos villas.

Our goal was to give to the houses a natural sense of the surroundings and also a true sense of home.

We always strive to make every guest feel at ease, relax and make the most out of their experience.

Hospitality

Hospitality at K4 comes naturally

A member of the K4 team will always be there to welcome you and show you around. We love sharing local tips about Kythnos’ best places and well-kept secrets. We’re also here to help with any information that you might need to get yourself around the island or in case you want to extend your stay in other Cyclades islands or in Athens.

All K4 villas are equipped to the tiniest detail and have everything that you need to have a comfortable and joyful stay. Little treats are always around the house for everyone who joins the K4 family. Homemade jams, local pies, thyme honey and fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables are just a few of the local delicacies that will come spontaneously to your door before you even ask for it!

Sustainability

K4 architecture uses what nature has to offer and has the least of environmental impact

Pieces of rock are left intact and are integrated into the walls of the rooms making the houses cool during summer months and warm during winter. Each villa unfolds in different levels so as you can still get a sea-viewfrom every room.

Natural materials are used consciously and with great care, from the outdoor wood-oven where you can enjoy homemade pizzas and fresh fish to the bamboo shades that let the sunshine come in in playful stripy shapes. All houses have been built with the best of local stone.

A way of life

We love looking after our gardens

which are filled with seasonal vegetation that grows to Kythnos and don’t need lots of water to be maintained – lavender, capers, chamomiles, daisies, olive groves et al.

Kythnos as all of the cycladic islands are quite dry and have limited water resources so we’re always careful with water and we encourage our guests to have a similar stance when it comes to their daily routines when using the showers or any other water appliances.
